The Sheal Story

Sheal Design Jewellery is the creation of Sian, gold & silver smith and mother of two, based in Melbourne, Victoria.

Sian joyfully creates jewellery with an emphasis on the unique, making organically styled pieces, that stand the test of time. 

Sian has been a maker since a young age, having always used her hands to create with a range of mediums.

It is this creativity that led her to a 20 year career as a Dental Technician making dental prostheses in Australia and Canada, before changing paths into Gold and Silver Smithing in 2018.

An avid traveller, she fostered a stong love and appreciation for nature and all its forms. This is reflected in her work at Sheal Design and her preference for organically styled pieces, use of 'imperfect' and unusual gems and apprecation for texture.

Sian creates many one of a kind pieces & small batches of work as her style progresses and evolves with her, meaning each piece will never be mass produced, and always retain its originality and unique qualities.

Sian loves nothing more than to work with you and your own ideas to create special pieces that speak their owners truth.
